This week flew by for me! We had a few different things going on and then all of the sudden, it is Friday! One fun thing we got to do was have an ultrasound at Open Arms and our kids came along to see. Hunter really got into it and was so cute asking me if I was "ok" or making sure she wasn't "hurting me" while the ultrasound was being done. He liked seeing the photos and asked to see them before he went to bed that night.
The snow all melted this week which we are sort of sad about but we are pretty sure it will return:). I almost have my Christmas cards ready to send out and at 15 weeks of pregnancy, I feel like I am eating ALL the time (how handy that it is also the holidays). Other than that, all is pretty normal around here.
Our winner for the Nursing T Shirt Tess Bra by Nummies is Sara. We have had a few Sara's win in the past! It was fun to read all your favorite new items last week and it sounds like many of you could use a new bra! Check back to our new items page over the next week or so as we just a shipment of two brand new styles from Bravado (in addition to the new Lifestyles bra from Bravado that we just added) that are super great as well if you are needing to choose a good nursing bra or two. If you didn't win the Nummies bra but would like to get one, do it this week while it is on sale for 10% off and save $5.00!
This week we have a fun bracelet by Vienna's Treasures. Vienna's Treasures makes adorable handmade bracelets featuring one handmade polymer clay bead, accented with cats eye glass, sterling silver daisy spacers and Swarovski crystals. There are 15 different styles in a variety of colors and characters from cows to flowers, cherries to butterflies. The retail price is $25.99. This would make a great Christmas present!
To win you can enter in one of two ways: 1) Send an email to at least 3 friends with a link to the giveaway, encourage them to sign up and then leave a comment letting me know you did it. OR 2) Visit our website www.mom4life.com and then come back here to leave a comment providing me with a suggestion on a way to improve its functionality (the Mom 4 Life.com website NOT this blog). We are in the beginning stages of switching to a new company to do the back end details of our website and have the opportunity to update or improve in areas that currently we have not been able to change. I would love your feedback on what would make the website more user friendly for you so I can consider these changes in our updates. You can just do one of the two options to enter unless you wish to do both but please leave only one post per person for one entry. Please post your comments here by December 11 at midnight PST. The winner will be posted on our blog on the 14th. Good luck!

love the special, clay bead on each one! it's whimsical yet jnot too "kiddy"!

Hi Heather! I love your website, so I really don't have any helpful hints to make it better. I have posted a few times in my Cafemom group about your web site, and have encouraged the ladies to go take a look at it, and have told them how happy I've been with your service as well as your products. Very cute bracelet! Please count me in! Have a Merry Christmas! ~Kelly

I, too, would like an option to "view all" or at least to view more products at a time. Other than that, I love your site!

I sent an email to many of my friends with a link to your website. These bracelets are very cute!

Personally I love your website just as it is. The bracelets are so cute. Would love one.
Posted by: Cryssy | December 07, 2007 at 09:29 AM
It would be great if the links down the left side were organized, maybe alphabetically or categorically. Perhaps under Baby, Child, Adult, Family...? It would make it a lot faster and easier to find the things you're looking for. A site map would help with that, too. Thanks for welcoming our feedback!

Maybe a search function- so if we remember an article we could search by keyword?
Posted by: Carrie Z | December 07, 2007 at 10:06 AM
One very minor suggestion for your website--when browsing for products they get pushed down by the header information (which is a bit reduntant. For example:
Products > Mom's Closet
Mom's Closet
Mom's Closet [IMG]
I think the image looks nicest, the rest seems like it could be compressed together or maybe even removed. Then the site would require less scrolling around to browse.
That said, I love your site and the recent re-designs have been great.

I did even better!
I blogged ya of course :

I have emailed a few friends with a link to your site. I have done this in the past and I know at least one of my friends has ordered from you (the Lilypads - she thinks they are great and that you service was FAST!) As for you website I love the look - design wise it is very attractive and easy to use - sorry - no suggestions. Please count me on on the draw!

Hello! Your website is easy to navigate at this point. I do think alphabetizing columns would be an
advantage. Also, I use a search
button on many sites. Thanks,Cindi

Hi. I tried to post yesterday, but my computer was having troubles. Sorry I show up twice. I LOVE these bracelets. I would love to have one for my little one. They are so cute. I really hope I get lucky this week. I emailed all my friends with girls.
As far as teh website, I agree with a prev. post that it would be nice if the pic changed with color selection. But I think your site is great!

What a beautiful bracelet! I sent the link to my friends! :)
Posted by: Dodo | December 08, 2007 at 01:20 PM
sometimes i can't remember the exact name of a product i am looking for and your search engine seems to only match exact words. it would be nice if it could bring up similar products -if that's possible! =)

I'd love to be able to sign up for automated notices when you add something to the bargain basement:) I love a great deal!

I hope it's okay if I blogged about it instead of emailing! Here's my link: http://jonathanandandrea.blogspot.com/2007/09/countless-contests.html And about your website...I looked at it again, and honestly I think it's great, and I couldn't find anything to improve on...I love it! :)

I like the PP's "View All" idea! That always makes shopping faster and easier for me! And maybe a search by Price function?
Good luck!

This is beautiful.

would love to win :)
Posted by: Jennifer Barr | December 10, 2007 at 10:25 AM
The only suggestion I have is a price options button, lowest to highest prices. Other than that I think the site is awesome and I adore this bracelet!
Posted by: Vanessa Decker | December 10, 2007 at 10:35 AM
I too love your website and think it's functionality is great! A search option would be handy.
Love these bracelet!! Thank you for another great giveaway!
Posted by: Amanda | December 10, 2007 at 11:50 AM
To be able to view more than one item at a time WOULD be cool. Other than that, no complaints ;)
Please enter me in this contest...I blogged about it here:
http://tgcohmy.blogspot.com/2007/12/couple-of-contests.html
email: amber_idz@yahoo.com
Thanks for the opportunity to win!!
Posted by: Amber | December 10, 2007 at 01:25 PM
I'll opt for #2 as I don't like emailing people LOL
Hmm, overall the site is great. I wouldn't change a lot from my point of view. I do think the length of th header should be more narrow (shorter) so that the main content is brought up and more visible. I'd put the view cart and checkout links larger and perhaps on the sidebar - they are too small up in the header.
Thanks for the contest!
Posted by: tnchick | December 10, 2007 at 05:11 PM
I e-mailed 3 friends with a link to the giveaway and encouraged them to sign up (but I hope I win anyway....)
Posted by: drew | December 10, 2007 at 05:40 PM
I really like your site so there isn't much I could suggest that you change. One thing I like is when I am looking for a product in a certain category, I like to view all the products and then go to the one that I want. This is especially helpful when there are multiple pages in 1 product category and I have to keep scrolling through.
Posted by: Caryn Bailey | December 10, 2007 at 11:46 PM
Hi Heather!
I would love an option to sort items on a page with filters such as price (low->high and vice versa), newly listed, bestsellers, etc.
I also blogged ya too!

What about a way to read reviews of each product so we have a better idea if it would work for us?
Posted by: Heidi Cooley | December 11, 2007 at 02:21 PM
I e-mailed 5 girlfriends linking to the giveaway with suggestions about signing up.
Posted by: Liz | December 11, 2007 at 04:31 PM
I consider color and graphics a function since they draw folks in. I think some better colors would help things out a bit. And some better quality pictures. Otherwise, everything is fine. :)
